Pfingsten in Florenz [collection] : opera in 3 acts / Richard Genée and J. Riegen ; music by Alfons Czibulka. [1895-1900?]

Arranged in six groups: I. Vocal scores (33). II. Orchestra parts (4). III. Vocal parts (20). IV. Chorus parts (38). V. Promptbooks (19). VI. Dialogue parts (134). The vocal scores are in English and German, published by White, Smith, Boston (c1886, pl. no. 6173), and carry the title "Whitsuntide in Florence." The English translation is by Louis C. Elson. Two copies are arranged as stage manager's guides. The orchestra parts, vocal parts, and chorus parts are holographs. The orchestra parts were printed by A. Cranz, Hamburg. The vocal and choral parts are in German, the vocal parts carrying superlinear handwritten English text. The promptbooks include four books in German manuscript, several mimeoed manuscript books in English, and five manuscript books in English, one of which bears the stamp of Arthur Bell and carries the title "Amorita." The dialogue parts are in English, being manuscript, typescript, and mimeoed manuscript.
